Air Traffic are playing in cambridge on the 22nd of september at the junction we hope to contact them and see if we could film any shots.

we have now changed our minds on the music song we want to make a video which is send in the boys by Milburn

pitch ideas

Holiday is meantioned many times throughout the song so a beach could be a setting or many different settings including the lead singer in a cockpit of a plane.

we've decided to have a narrative to the song- the first third of the song begins quite dark so we're thinking filming it in outside a nightclub.

the beach is going to be our central location for filming and then we could have short quick shots of the band in a warehouse playing instruments in black and white.

Pitch

the main style of our video will be in an urban setting possibly in black and white. the song is quite energetic so we hope to have an energetic video with quick cuts and edits. a lot of indie videos have narrative in their videos and so we aim to import a narrative and link some lyrics with the visuals. Overall we hope to create an indie souled energetic video in an urban setting. That's not necessarily stylish in its self e.g. a block of run down flats

this is an example of the sort of video we hope to create narrative based however shots of the band on occations. The video will feature a group of youths who are causing trouble in an urban setting. This will portray the energy of the tempo of the song we have chosen. This can be used in the first verse which ties in with the lyrics.

The song features various solo parts of instruments so for these we could use close up shots of the band members playing their instruments to add more variety to the video.

The chorus includes the theme of "holidays" so we are planning on shooting the chorus on the beach to emphesise this idea. We will look into the logistics of this idea and decide whether or not it is a worth while idea in the forthcoming days.

The costumes will vary in different shots and settings but will feature indie style clothing, urban clothing and maybe suits for some shots.

the ending of this video as their in the warehouse, the lights flicker off. We hope to encorporate this in our video

Energetic, chase, in a urban area, possibly in black and white, 85% band and 15% narrative.

The main style of our video will be in an urban setting possibly in black and white. the song is quite energetic so we hope to have an energetic video with quick cuts and edits. Overall we hope to create an indie souled energetic video in an urban setting. That's not necessarily stylish in its self e.g. a block of run down flats. Our main inspiration was " the Enemy" in particular " Had enough ".

Most of the chase footage will be in 3/4 of the music video. All Shots of the band will be constantly varied and have random lengths that mostly won t exceed 3 seconds. The band will consist of 4 members a guitarist, drummer, bassist and lead singer which will be dressed in indie/street clothing.
